Project management for founders
Founders rarely need another system to maintain. They need one place to put the work, a way to see what matters today, and enough shared context that a small team can move without another meeting.
The founder’s actual problem

- Let Mission Mode propose the day, then pin the one thing that cannot slip and defer what can wait.
- Use the command palette and keyboard layer to move quickly when your attention is already elsewhere.
- Ask Tarsen about the real board, or connect your own assistant over MCP when you want a conversational way to find or update work.
What stays deliberately small
Tarsen does not ask you to design a custom workflow before it becomes useful. Projects, lists, cards, owners, dates, priority, comments, checklists, labels, and permissions cover the work most small teams need without turning the board into an admin project.
The free plan is built for one person. It includes the board, Mission Mode, unlimited projects and JSON or CSV export, so you can find out whether the habit helps before you pay for a second seat.
When Tarsen is not the right fit
