Stop managing.
Start finishing.

Tarsen is a Kanban board that plans your day for you. It reads your due dates, priorities and estimates, then hands you the short list you can actually finish today.

Free forever for one person. No credit card.

Your backlog tells you everything you could do. It has never once told you what to do today.

Useful in under a minute

No schema to design, no workflow to configure, no process consultant. Name a project and you have a board. That is the whole learning curve.

One tool, not a suite

No documents, wikis, whiteboards or chat to keep tidy on top of the actual work. A board, cards, and the few things that move them forward.

Fast enough to live in

Real-time by default, optimistic writes, and a board that stays smooth at two thousand cards. You will outgrow the plan before you outgrow the board.

Move a card. This one is real.

Not a screenshot and not a video. This is the same component the product renders, wired to real drag-and-drop. Try it with a mouse, a finger or the keyboard.

Cards keep their identifier when they move: TAR-133 stays TAR-133 for life, so the reference you pasted into a message six months ago still works.

Today’s mission1d 4h 30m / 5h

Two cards are past their date and one of them is the Stripe duplication bug, so that goes first. The keyboard drag work is due tomorrow and mostly finished. The importer card is left out; it's still blocked on the Northwind export.

Trello importer: checklists arrive out of order

Blocked, waiting on a real export from Northwind

Every morning, a day you can actually finish.

Tell Mission Mode how many hours you really have. It reads what’s assigned to you: due dates, priority, what’s stalled, what’s blocked, then hands you the few cards worth doing today, in order, that fit in the time you have left.

It shows its working
Every card comes with the reason it made the list. Remove one, add one, reorder it, or regenerate the whole thing. It stays your day.
It works with no AI at all
The ranking is deterministic and runs without an API key, so it works on the free plan from day one. Connect OpenAI or Anthropic and it writes the summary in better prose. It never changes the selection.
It never touches your board
Nothing is moved, assigned or rescheduled without you. A suggestion stays a suggestion until you accept it.

Stop pasting your board into chat.

Tarsen speaks MCP, so Claude (or anything else that supports it) works against your actual workspace. Not a copy. Not an export you pasted into a chat window. The card it creates is a real card, and the comment it writes notifies your team.

An API key and one line of config. Nothing to install, and it reads only the workspaces that key is scoped to.

How to connect it
  • What's on my plate this week, and what's already overdue?
  • Which cards are blocked, and who am I waiting on?
  • Add a card for the billing migration, high priority, due Friday.
  • I was off for a week. What actually changed?

Never hunt for a menu again.

Mentions notify the person, not the whole team. Every change is recorded as structured activity you can read back.

Ask it about your work, not the internet.

Ask Tarsen answers from your own boards, and only from the projects you’re allowed to see. It searches, summarises and drafts cards from your notes, but it cannot change a thing until you confirm it.

Ask Tarsen

What's blocking this project?

One card is blocked: TAR-128, the Trello importer checklist ordering, waiting on a real export from Northwind. Priya has been on it for four days. TAR-133 isn't marked blocked but hasn't moved since Tuesday and is 2 days overdue.

Create 3 cards from these notes?

  • · Add idempotency key to webhook handler
  • · Backfill duplicate subscriptions
  • · Add a webhook replay test

Usage is rate-limited and recorded per workspace. AI can be switched off entirely.

Move your Trello board in one step.

Export your board as JSON from Trello and drop the file in. Lists, cards, descriptions, labels, due dates, checklists and comments all come with it. Nothing to rebuild by hand.

You see exactly what will be created before anything is written, and importing the same file twice is caught rather than quietly duplicated. Files uploaded to Trello arrive as links, because Trello’s own storage needs your Trello login to read.

Leaving is as easy as arriving.

Export a project or a whole workspace as JSON, or your cards as CSV. Complete, open formats, nothing held back. We would rather you could leave easily than stay because it is difficult.

  • Server-side permission checks on every read and write
